    Are you better off now...

    ... than 4 years ago?

Yes, for those citizens and families who took advantage of President Obama's policies (ask autoworkers, construction workers, and related businesses) who are helped by the stimulus package.

But no for those who were denied help because the Republicans did not pass needed Democratic programs or even try to reach a compromise on them.

The question should be, "Are Americans going to reward Republicans for their callous infliction of distress and anguish on America for the sole purpose of attaining power in 2012?"

    Sentiment: Buy

Are you serious - your talking about leaving this empty suit in charge...............Do you listen to the news etc or bury your head.....No jobs, bankrupt country, higher taxes, higher cost of living, can't wait for 4 more yrs of that.

    • I agree. I know the Republicans will not acknowledge the mess that Bush left. They didn't even invite him to their convention. The President has done a very good job. Is America better off now than it was when President Obama took office. Of course it is. Our debt is something that must be addressed and the President know that. He wants a balanced approach while the Republicans want to double down on trickle down. Trickle down has never worked and never will. It is counter-intuitive. Business wants their customers (middle- class, working-class) to have more money to spend. When demand goes up these businesses will hire. That's economics. As Bill Clinton would say, "That's arithmetic".

      Sentiment: Hold

    • Republicans voted no on Democratic policies that would drive even more Americans into poverty. The American people are fed up with your democratic policies that are time proven not to work. This will be settled in November and than we can get America back to work and world leaders will no longer see us a weak nation with no leadership.
