Yes, the fact the earnings call and release of the Q1/2009 report is going to happen prior to the market opening on Friday is a very positive siganl for investors. It generally always means good news is in the offering. When companies have negative news, they almost always wait to release it on Friday's after the market session closes so investors can digest it over the weekend and thus are not inclined to panic and sell thereby bringing the share price down. Since the Friday conference call is scheduled for 9:00 AM ET, I'll be up and with it at 6:00 AM PT. I think anyone would have to be a fool to bet against good news coming out. CEO Mark Ordans performance during that show should easily carry the share price to over $3.00 and beyond. Like you, I believe the shares of SRZ will work higher in Thursdays session as anticipation builds for the Friday event. The trend here is clearly "up, up and away" although with moderate dips in the mix.
