I noticed that Sanofi has a Trademark symbol on Prednisporin™ while in it's phase II research.
The Zalicus Z160 is almost half way through it's phase II stage. When do they put a real name on Z160? Same for Z944.
Before a medication get's marketed it's given a Trademark (TM) then shortly before it goes on the market it gets a registered trademark. ® like Exalgo®
I doubt it's going to be called Z160 on the market.
Sanofi can give Pred a name because it is an easy one. It is a combination of 2 known substances. Prednisolone and Cyclosporine You realize that Prednisporin has been in phase 2 since at least 2010? What makes you think Z160 is halfway through it's phase 2? The colored block on the chart on their site?
