Zalicus announced enrollment completion of both trials on September 3rd, but the Lumbosacral Radiculopathy trial (the first trial) obviously completed enrollment before September 3rd because the second trial is two month behind (primary completion dates of October vs. December, respectively).
If the Lumbo trial completed enrollment, August 23rd, which it likely did, the treatment duration is 6 weeks which would put us at Friday, October 4th. Corrigan can crunch the number over the weekend and make a decision whether to reverse split or announce the primary result, leaving the rest of the data for a publication. This study is small, and the primary data can be quickly analyzed.
I have very little doubt that Lumbo enrollment finished on or before August 23rd because Dr. Corrigan had to spend more cash to speed up the second study and it is still finish in December. It is very likely we could get news early in October.
