You have been working hard on your ide of top line results by end of next week, but according to the CEO comment from yesterdays PR, he says later this year. Now I take that to mean not next week, but maybe something like November. Lets hope that next week we build a strong base above $1 and avoid RS.
"The FDA’s designation of Z160 as having orphan drug status is an important milestone for Zalicus as we continue the clinical development work required for potential FDA approval of Z160," commented Mark H.N. Corrigan, MD, President and CEO of Zalicus. “We look forward to evaluating and reporting the activity of Z160 in chronic neuropathic pain indications later this year, including postherpetic neuralgia and lumbosacral radiculopathy.”
The LSR data should be in. We also have the possibility of a Nasdaq extension. If I were Corrigan, these are the words I would have used. You cannot get any more vague than later this year. One minute from now is later this year and so is December 31st midnight. Think of his alternatives: very soon, next week, week after next, November, before Christmas? I heard the same phrasing from another CEO recently. Then they had a press conference literally a few days after their quarterly presentation releasing results we did not expect for weeks or months. We shall see what happens. GLTA
Oh please. CEOs say "looking forward" all the time and it means absolutely nothing. The CLSN CEO kept saying the same thing for months, always with a ton of excitement in his voice. Go see how that turned out. I think the results will be positive, but what a load of #$%$ to think this is some kind of indication. .
