Z160 bit the dust. What more is there to say? Still holding some Z as pocket change now, but sold some too..
I'm down to only large 2 biotech positions now. NWBO and THLD.
(All I wanted was one of three. Now I have only 2 shots on goal left. Unfortunately, I though that Z160 was my best chance). Good luck, everyone...
Very sorry for your loss. Consider protective puts to offset your positions in the remaining two. Gosh knows I've lost so much money on MNKD thinking they'd rocket up. The protective puts helped mitigate the loss a bit.
Sentiment: Strong Sell
I made my bet. And given all the indicators that this pathway was promising and this molecule was hitting it solidly. Can't forget that this was always a possibility despite all the positive indicators.
I will have to reevaluate for the future what having all those preclinical data, data on a similar already approved drug, and data from earlier clinical data all add up to. Clearly it didn't spell success.
I wish all investors well in going forward.
Yes Rul....your analysis of that will be greatly awaited. Going forward, whatever we come up with to see where or by what model of thinking the risks were not properly assessed could be a huge help.
Thank you for all your time here Rul, your posts seemed on the mark. Like you said, all the previous date was there but for whatever reason just didn't translate to a successful trial. Too bad.
Ranger, I know you've mentioned being positive on THLD before, but I very strongly suggest you consider not holding that stock through data. There are quite a few very intelligent biotech guys out there who are certain their drug is going to fail. Just be cautious, man.
Good luck to you as well. ZLCS wiped out my "play" stock account so now it's effectively 0 and I am just left with my retirement accounts in mutual funds. At least I won't have to follow the market anymore. By the way it seems the way to play these is wait for rejection, then buy. Someone has already made almost 25% off ZLCS bounce today.
