    ELNK and Clearwire Partnership

About a year ago, ELNK and CLWR announced a partnership. ELNK plans to use the CLWR network to provide mobile access to the ELNK network and secure Data Centers. In one of the recent investor conference calls the ELNK CEO provided an update that indicated a June target date for the availability of phones to be used to implement this plan.

For its part, CLWR announced that they will open their network for Business access on Monday March 18. Security and Data Storage are part of their plan. It seems to me that CLWR is providing the 'last mile' access and mobility while ELNK is the natural partner for the backend Security, Data Storage, and Business Application/Cloud services. However, there is [not yet] a clear statement that this is the plan.

I am optomistic that a clearer statement about the ELNK-CLWR partnership will be made. CLWR plans to turn on 2000-5000 Advanced LTE base stations out of their 16,000 current towers by year end in major metro areas. These towers allow download speeds to a cell phone of up to 100 MB/sec. A typical cabel connection provides 25 MB/sec and is not mobile. The new Samsung S4 phone announced on Thursday night has a large screen to attract business users and is Advanced LTE/CLWR capable out of the box.

I am putting all of these pieces together as a potential catalyst for the ELNK share price over the next few weeks. The adoption of Smart Phones by business seems to be the next wave and ELNK seems to be in a great position to benefit from it. A good example is the new ELNK contract with RE/Max. Real Estate sales people need fast, HD phones to show listings, pictures, and videos of homes for sale from a mobile device. They also need a secure network for processing confidential information about their clients. The ELNK/CLWR option meets those needs.

Additional info -- CLWR is in the process of being bought by Sprint. The Advanced LTE and fast download speeds can easily be integrated on the S towers.

    • The last business ELNK needs to become involved with; Mobile. This company right now is showing a PE of 80!! Insanely high, it should settle at 15 to 20 by 2014. The share price will continue to drop $4 and $2 soon after that. Then it will trade sideways for a few years.

The leadership and business plan are equally junk.
