    Manipulation time

What a "surprise", I just checked the order book and there's at least a dosen "mini-orders" on the buy and sell side of only 100 shares each per order, on the buy side just below the market price and the sell only at market. This is illegal technique used by short traders when news comes out that is perived to be negative to try to surpress the pps downwards.

    • Pws, but I told you about buying puts, didn't I? It was obvious, only because of the run up. It was soaring too high, an indication that there will be an offering at a better price. And the offering is accretive, not dilutive. So don't look at it as a minus. Add more if you want, but not now. Wait until the offering is finalized, which will be a while, because it will take hts a while to add all of those shares, due to the prior 2 offerings made before. I am letting you know that this is done for hts to come back towards a 1.10 divi.

Look at how agnc has stated its ex divi date, this means be ready to pull out shares from there and add them to nly next week. They will have a run up, while agnc you can buy puts to hedge. Then the nly run up will happen for the whole week after they announce, and then expect an nly offering at a better price, at the time the price will be around 18.30. Then an offering will happen that will push the price to around 17.00, and a mini run up to about 17.50 in one week. You should love these situations, and try to make money of that.

      I wish you luck

Below is the daily activity of HTS the day the last offering was annouced (Janury 5th '11) and the week therafter. Clearly HTS's pps stablized quickly.

I was wrong about the posilbity of an addtioanl offering so close to HTS's last one on January 5th 2011, but the stock's pps recovered in a weeks time:

        but 2 thoughts

cmo and cys offer the next hts like up move perhaps

nly maybe too once they declare

hts like i said jmp or fbr talkign about a move back to 1.10 on their divi but you cant believe that until they say they earned 1.10 or more - so get some but not much relative to what might go up.
