Why do I think this stock is a 30.25 before ex div? Because after it, 29.25 is a very realistic number for now. There is no reason why this stock should not get to this point. Right now it is 28.90's, and if you subtract a dollar, it becomes 27.90, which is too cheap during dividend season. The false sense of keeping stocks lower is due for shorts being too nonchalant. When they are caught, the stock rises significantly more than they are actually worth. I do not know about any company for sure, because every company is a crook. It's called business. But I do know human psychology and the greed one has when you can have a 4-5% divi every 3 months during a horrible recession. So I call Hts a recession special. Enjoy the ride
Me to Ros. I did not want to do this, because I wanted to buy agnc puts. So don't know what to do myself. If I will sell, probably it will be just to get even and then go onto agnc puts and then calls. We had a couple of chances to sell up 30% and we did not. Oh well.
I believe that I have just about enough IVR July22.50s to wall paper my study. I'm hopeful that I don't have to complete the job with my HTS July 29s. The lack of closing momentum as several big names head towards X-d. is an unexpected turn of events. Like you, I am a bit leery about having unhedged exposure to options over the next few months. Who knows, maybe we can squeeze a nickel out of IVR before July expiration.
Quite a disappointing move, but it should be alright for the September push. This semester sucked except for certain times. We'll see what will happen Monday and Tuesday, but my hope was to get a good amount on Hts ad buy puts for the Agnc offering. I guess I'll miss that. Darn
I didn't write clearly in last post - own IVR and HTS calls ( at about .30 and .40 for July 22.50s and Aug 29s) and own IVR shares. 29.50 would be a god send before xdiv. I think ( hopefully) IVR is the second best REIT play after AGNC. Will see how KMp and LINE calls work out.
