    You Know

You know, it's funny. The greatest investors of all time have averaged say 20% a year. Yet every illiterate weenie who falls off a turnip truck claims 100%.

Pop quiz: pull off 100% ten times and you have a return of ...? 102,300%. No shit, 1000x. 2 to the 10th. Momma Tsar dint raise no dummies.

So pretty soon, beguiler, you'll've turned 10k into 10 million. Well, shitfire, boy, I'm impressed!

    • Jesse Livermore turned the $5 his mother gave him into a fortune of over $3,000,000 (when that was a lot) in a matter of 5 years or so. It's easier when you don't have a Ton of money. However Peter Lynch made about 29% over 14 years when managing over $1 bil in assets so there's hope for all of us trying to beat the markets.
