I have to expose his hypocrisy. Yesterday, before he sold today, his language was very flowery and pro LPH. Now he is the fear, uncertainty and doubt king. I know LPH is just a game for him, but for long term investors, he is truly insulting and low rent at that. Truly a pump and dump artist. Here are his post from the past few days from IHUB:
The one lesson I've learned in the last year is I welcome anyone who is willing to rationally discuss a view opposite my own. When dissenters are not tolerated, even when they are professional and respectful, you almost guarantee groupthink and everyone goes off the cliff together. I welcome RRU2 concerns to the discussion.
Depends whether or not you are rationally discussing a view, or discussing an irrational view. The latter ends up stirring emotions and becomes divisive. Sounds kind of like my favorite neighbour.....sorry, neighbor :)
Exactly. For the record I was in LPH for about 11 months in 2009 and 2010 and made a ton. But that was then and this is now.
Since 2011 I got out of LPH when all the China RTOs were getting hammered on fraud fear, can't blame me for self-preservation. I still kept LPH on my watch list but without a definite catalyst the trend has been a slow bleeding in PPS due to macro sentiment.
So I cannot risk another total loss. Recently I got back into LPH a week before the 10K as I was hearing everything was looking A.O.K. for the 10K.
I increased my position when the conference call was announced before earnings. I want to hold LPH now all the way through the acquisition closing, but since my track record isn't the best, I am leary of longer term holds without A LOT of due diligence. I would like to hold LPH until the acquisition, but am trying to decide whether to hold a full position, one-third, or less until the time gets closer due to the ridiculous risk levels in China RTOs, the bad investor sentiment with constant selling, and the bad macro right now with Europe, all affecting how many people are willing to hold for long.
This time around you can bet I'm not going to be the last bagholder, mark my words.
