Just Spoke to AMEX regarding trading resuming (got it from iHub)
First, he clarified that trading halt code of T1 means,
"the company", LPH in this case, has specifically requested
to have the trading halted, and it's not SEC halting the trading.
If SEC triggers the halt, it will be H4 or H9, but it's not that.
The next stage is after T1 code is T2, which means company has
released the relevant news to the public. Shortly thereafter,
it'll go to T3 code, which resumes the trading.
He says, the timing of when this all occurs is based on how
quickly LPH wants this done. He says, usually the company lifts
the halt on the same day (if it's domestic company) or next day
(if its overseas company)...because they need time to prepare and
release the news.
However, he says, sometimes the halt can last days, weeks, or months...though it not common.
So at this point we know it will trade again. And it will
coincide with some news release from the company in the near
future. with only 30 minutes to go in the market today, I think
the news may come in after market today or sometime during
Who knows...I just wanted to share this with you both longs and shorts...because this portion of our money is tied up right now.
