Cramer is a smart guy and I respect him. However, he answered the question in the "Lightning Round" where he gets asked about random stocks and he can't possibly have a deep understanding of each company. He tends to favor dividend paying stocks, which are relatively safe investments for the average investor looking for a better return than what they can get at their bank due to extreme low interest rates. It's risky for him to recommend a speculative stock like SZYM, so it's no surprise that he said to avoid it.
I'm quite sure that once SZYM executes and sales and earnings start to accelerate he will change his tune.
