REGCO orders 10 Q400's. There's something to hang your hat on. REGCO is another Deluce operation, a family that has had its share of poor decisions in the industry, this is just one more. The Q400 operation will be a unmitigated disaster. The YTO island airport is inefficient and difficult to access even with a land bridge, and this operation has little to no room for growth given its poor range and passenger acceptance of the product.
The dehavilland site will close within 2 years, and BBD has no product waiting in the wings to replace its CRJ series which is coming to the end its its sales cycle.
Have fun making snow mobiles jacques, 'cause in about 6 months, it will be all you have left.
certainly your equity porfolio is under 5000$ (very small money) That's why... you say something really crazy "The dehavilland site will close within 2 years, and BBD has no product waiting in the wings to replace its CRJ series which is coming to the end its its sales cycle." YOU REALLY A MOTHERPUCKER.
your life is dreaming. Recently BBD received different transporation orders have enough weight to offset the weak demand in their planes. S&P, Moody's will not cut their ratings again.
One thing I also didn't mention is that Flybe not only turned the 200s and 300s back to Bombardier but also elminated the 3 CRJ200s from their fleet. I'm not sure "jet replacement" with props is the way of the future for the civilized world.
Of course some of us Embraer shareholders are also cheering for Bombardier. Let's face it, for Embraer to be successful the industry has to get healthy. As the saying goes: a high tide will raise all ships.
In the mean time keep selling those turbo-props. I hope you realize that Bombardier took all of FlyBe's existing 200s and 300s in on trade for the new 400s. For your sake I hope the guys in Montreal can place these used 200s and 300s (and I don't mean in storage in the dessert).
