    Approaching $1.00

The last time AMNF hit a dollar, they split the stock 2 for 1 to keep the stock price below $1.00 per share. They chosr to remain with the cheap stocks so they wouldn't have to comply with all of the reporting requirements for the NASDAQ stocks as a cosst saving measure. What are they going to do this time?

    Sentiment: Hold

    • If you don't mind me asking, when was that? I can't see any record of it on Yahoo.Finance, but then again they aren't always up-to-date or 100% accurate. The reason I'm asking is because I'd like to pick up some AMNF as soon as I see a good get in point. Thanks in advance for your reply/any replies.

      • The stock distribution for the 2 for 1 split occured on 3/31/2008. At least that it what my records from AGEdwards (Wells Fargo Advisors) shows.

      • For 3 years I have usually had buy orders for 2500 all or none on AMNF at the bid. My experience is they almost never hit. Orders at the bid are usually very small amounts. Price retracements are beyond rare. A good "entry point" has historically been "now" The exit point is "never". The only time I sold AMNF was 5000 at .83, I bought them back at .85. Lesson learned. AMNF is my single largest holding at 28% of my portfolio. I did not spend 28% of my money on it, it grew into that position with a 35% gain for me so far excluding divies. Now that I am retired Amnf dividends are a large part of my income.

        Sentiment: Buy
