    Still no progress

From my post of OCt 24th (close was 1.79)

"If you look at a long term chart of AMNF you can see long periods of sideways motion. Price rise here has been mostly because of P/E expansion. IMO At least 6 months of sideways (1.75-1.90) until earnings catch up and maybe see new product successes. "

    • In this whole downturn since february, the Accumulation/Distribution indicator on the charts has been REALLY, REALLY postive. To me that suggests someone big is quietly accumulating under the radar. There is a poster over on Investorhub AMNF board who had a conversation with AMNF management this spring and had positive feedback.

I think the LT target for AMNF is $2.65 to $2.80 range and they have .12-.14 annual earnings by this time next year and a 0.2 divvy. That assumes they can keep the trajectory of the last 18 months rolling.

      • Trading an average of 35k shares a day (less than .0011 percent of float) changes the price but we can't draw a conclusion about accumulation or shedding of shares. Board director Nichols, or his First London securities sheds shares a few times a year, but it is new car money, not new house money. I am sure a few family members may have kids going off to college and might sell a few shares. A few of the small mutual funds may have had to sell because AMNF no longer fit their criteria, but they never owned that much anyway, there are more shares represented on this msg board, the company board, and the Armanino family than trades in a YEAR. Wake me up if AMNF trades 1M shares in a week, then we can talk accumulation or sell off. Meanwhile I have a buy order open at all times hoping somebody tosses their shares into a weak bid day, it almost hit yesterday.

        Sentiment: Strong Buy

      • Although bullish on AMNF it seems to me that someone big is not so quietly getting out. We are still in a downtrend and about 15% off high. SInce AMNF not a well researched stock, a big seller must have reason or knowledge to sell. I start to be concerned about Q2 results.

        Sentiment: Hold
