Does this new announcement, although still in its infancy, cause any changes in your mind about Orbital? I like this idea and hope it moves along quickly as we need far better surveillance of what is going on in more remote regions where we have not had eyes. We also need far better human intel on the ground but that is very difficult in areas of such tribal suspicion.
Tom, I like ORB's long term prospects ...ts just the stock price that keeps tripping me up. The mil sat deal sounds OK but there are several initiatives in high and low altitude unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV's) that can be launched quickly and inexpensively that can circle around an area and send pictures back to tactical command posts. Some even have weapons on board! (See recent Forbes article). Also the US Space deal sounds like a middleman scraping off the cream between the mfr (ORB) and the customer (US)? Would be a good capacity filler however.
I tend to rely more on stock price action (charts) than fundamentals to tell me what's going on. ORB's charts have been fairly weak lately. GLTA
