IMO. When John McCain, who I respect, calls the Tea Party to task, I think they need to listen. Young whippersnappers do not know everything nor do old codgers like Reid. I am sick to death of these political chicken games.
Every time we pull back it seems like more overhead resistance to plow through.
PS: Not a Tea Party problem; problem is with "just kick the can down the road" folks who are not willing to do the right thing and cut spending including huge socialist programs that are out of control. Obummer's bipartisan commission laid out the solution ...now ignored. A failure of leadership.
President Obama's bipartisan commission also recommended some changes in the tax structure which is an area the Tea Party will not even consider because part of their recommendations included revising rates (lower) and closing loopholes (higher). Also, and I know this may rankle you but at least use the term President instead of the terms you are using. I did not always agree with President Bush but I never called him some of the rude terms other people did. He may well be defeated in the 2012 election but for now he is the elected leader of the country. I know we agree on some things concerning the budget but the problems do not all rest on the side of the Democrats. Thanks for considering this.
