Wow, up $.72 on low volume...

That is a pretty big position there Daj,indeed.
Looking for too. This pad turnover is bugging me big time. This is about a year and a half behind schedule. I suspect there will either be an announcement this week or another delay in the launches.
Looks like the GEMS program is scrubbed and puts off any Pegusus work to 2017. That will probably cause some layoffs at ORB.
I will put on my cheer leading outfit when we get some good news...until then I grumble allot...

    • I think that everyone is banking on Antares & ignoring the other strengths of Orbital, which are the Missile Defense Targets programs and the Satellite business. Also since the GMD program "reaward" went to Boeing, some $$ should free up to Orbital for block upgrade(s) especially in the avionics system.

Not an employee of Orbital, but we sell a few parts to them, so I think that there is a lot of upside based on our assessment.

I have long been a proponent of ORB based on their diversity. Having said that, the Antares is a big part of their overall strategy moving forward. This pad certification issue has been going on all year. It was supposed to have happened late last Dec,then January. As recently as mid July ORB told investors that it was to happen by the last week of July, and be followed by a pad hot fire test late August early Sep. It is late August and still no word. the thing is that ORB is booking revenues under the CRS without having even tested the launch vehicle, let alone the cargo capsule.
