Why the huge spread between the bid and ask in the Dec options???

    • I am curious as to which strike price, and what is the spread?
Anyways, yesterday, after 3 plus years and 450mil invested by ORB and NASA, the Antares launch vehicle stands erect on the newly constructed pad at Wallops Island. Take a look at the pictures on ORB Facebook site. They are impressive.
In 4 to 6 weeks, there will be a hot fire test of the engines and, if all goes well, the long awaited COTs demonstration mission with a mocked up version of the Cyngus capsule will occur about 1 month later. That leaves us somewhere in the early to mid Dec time frame. The contract in Dec expires on Dec 21. The bets are down ...choose but choose wisely. I have long maintained that ORB would be much higher in price if this goes well, but obviously would spike lower if their is a launch failure or even a glitch. IMHO, we are either 11 or 19 around expiration, so I would love to see bid ask on a given strike price.

      Sentiment: Buy
