    Splitsville

Hmmm... I wonder what the chances of a split are if (when?) ORBI goes over 50?
Anyone out there have an opinion (surely!!) about Iridium? I'm thinking of buying into IRIDF as a way to not get left out of the upcomming telecom. revolution (which ORBI is charging into!).

    • I think you are refering to the following statment from the PR department.

<<Once we get Taurus to the level of maturity that Pegasus has achieved, identifying the schedule will become a bit easier.>>>>

Read it again 'sam' and this time try to understand what the man is saying. It's all about comprehension,u with me.Oh,don't hurt yourself laughing now,you hear. So how much 'didya' loose in the deal?? I,on other hand love my superior gain after many moons of waiting.

    • look at this. http:/www.oex.net/

    • In light of, for example, the snafu regarding the venting of the hydrazine on the last XL launch, I had to laugh when BB refers to the XL as a "mature" program.

    • I'd buy more IRIDF since it is down from its high of 54 (don't know why except MLynch it's 98 limit) - It is supposed to be a $200 stock by 2000.
ORBI split? I doubt (maybe a 3/2 would happen but not a 2/1) it let the stock go up some more and see what happens by mid-year and with the 3 Pegasus-XL launches (and Taurus on 26 Jan)

Kistler is relying on an engine from an era long since extinct. the N-1 may have been the "shit" in the 60/70's but last time I checked the Soviets never landed those engines on the moon.
This is like NASA saying we need new engines/parts for the shuttle and we are going to a museum and use Saturn V engine parts/replacements. Kistler may have a great idea put when these engines reach there life expectancy - what happens?
