I have no idea how much this decision should shave off the current price...However, it should (but probably won't) give pause to the fools that believe in the "court will stand by the regulator" theory.If you fools think the regulator really got outta Dodge to fulfill a lifelong dream to lecture college students, I've got a CDO-sqauared I'd like to sell you at par...The real danger to MBIA is the final decision...this decision just makes it clear that the court believes there is a good reason to take a looksy at the regulator's decision...Obviously not good for MBIA...jbd.

This basically means new public finance business is out the window, for all intents and purposes. They can't raise capital or ratings with the litigation cloud over the transaction.
