It's funny...we bash shorts and tell them how wrong they are. This has also happened with Arena Pharmaceuticals ($ARNA). Pumpers are very optimistic and fail to see through to reality on these trades. One person informed me that this trade was too risky, and another informed the whole board that this stock had a high chance of crashing after open on Monday. Instinctively, I sold right at open ($1.46), took a profit, and now we're at $1.05. I'm not saying this will not go up again. I am hopeful that it will..but with such limited information about this company, I'm not going to hold and be stuck with this for another 2-3 months while it hovers around or below $1; and those who predicted $5+– get real! It ain't happening anytime soon! Stop pumping, stop being greedy, and take your profit and buy back in when you think it's appropriate.
Congrats, I did zero DD and only bought $500 of shares, but I was too slow to sell at the open and I don't think it is wise to average down so I'll either negate the gains I just made on SWVI and sell for a loss or wait. I actually put in a sell at 1.44 but it didn't go through.
Yes...I didn't do any DD on this one either. I invest more in those that I feel comfortable investing in. I caught wind of the news that this "sector" was going to surge and bought in on it....I originally planned on waiting until mid-morning on this one, and glad I didn't. Good luck :)!
Actually, it was 1,000 shares. I am not going to feed you B.S. and play the big shot! I don't trade more than $2500 on pump and dump stocks--In this case, it was $1100 with little viable information! Good luck and hope you see this come up again. Also, I took the advice of someone else advising me to sell! I'm glad I did!
