Anyone know the history behind how this stock was as high as $70 in the early 1990s on heavy volumes in comparison to current volumes. Recycling income obviously wasn't a factor large factor back then, and I don't recall there beign appliance smart stores around. As a matter of fact, in reading the history of ARCI seems they were more a peddler of used appliances back then, so Im left scratching my head as to how the price could have reached such lofty numbers and dreaming of a repeat.
There was a 4:1 reverse split somewhere along the way, so at that time the unadjusted price was more like 16 or 18, which didn't seem so high. If I recall correctly, at first they were only in the recycling business...at a time when the political climate made it appear that more growth was in the cards. The stores came a little later.
