Hi Cane. Do you still hold a position in Novatel or have you moved on completely with no intention of looking back. I noticed that you no longer post there. Remember that is the board where I met you. A lot of the old regulars are still there (sans Symphony). User is trying to post in English now and seems to be behaving himself. Most of us are in a state of hopeful frustration but it may never pan out. We are holding nonefheless. What are your thoughts?
I mentioned on the NVTL in Aug. 2009 and then again in early Oct. For the record Cane, there were some days during Oct. when the volume was 50,000-100,000 shares per day. There were several others in the 20,000-30,000 range. Go back and check. Then it died.
I like you and theres an old saying never take business personally.'Or was that Marlon Brando in the Godfather. And let this be the last comment because we will never know anyway. But there were three trades today on this stock. There is no exposure,no press etc.Every single day now for the last almost 2 months we see these block trades. All Im telling you is when you first brought up the stock we were doing about 2 thousand shares a day if that for months. And during that time if you remember when it went from 1 to over 2 almost 2.50 it did so on literally a few thousand shares.
Cane, you know I like you and agree with you on almost everything. However, just because this stock is showing trades in 5,000 share blocks, that does not mean that it is due to hedge fund activity or interest in this company. The $ amount on 5000 shares is about $7200, hardly indicative of hedge fund interest. A lot of us have place FKWL trades in blocks of that size or larger.
When I first entered the stock the average volume per day was no more than 2,000.That was a while ago. The average volume is three times that and everyday.Actually this is perhaps the only day when its been under 5,000.There is steady accumulation unlike in the past thats all I can see from here as of late.
Im out of Novatel.I follow the board but dont think its right to post when I dont own the stock.Ive learned to get out when things are not right and move on.I now own Sierra because management has shown themselves to be consitent and more professional and they acted at a time to acquire a company when they needed to help the company.Of corse I still own 'The Dragon' but took some shares off the table when it hit 14.Great potential because management is doing the right things and tech is needed.
Because of you I now am really strong on WIMAX and bought SMOD a flash memory company and ANAD who recently just got some bussiness from Novatel and is directed towards Wimax with their product line.
Cloud computing and storage /memory is a field Im starting to get into.I bought a speculation in Netlist but they have a great product that increases memory and storage capacity.
I hope you didnt buy more shares of Novatel.Triad Ive learned that you buy a company on the way up when others are buying.Sell some when your up a bit and sell most if the stock has been broken and Im afraid Novatel for the moment is a broken stock.
By the way there is a interesting dynamic going on with Franklins stock. If You notice the stock was moving on very little volume. But that has stopped in the last month and now you see much more volume at least for this stock and it hardly moves. However the trend is up in a slow and diligent manner. The Market makers are controlling the volume and there is steady accumulation.
This tells me that the stock will go higher.I think its hedge funds entering. They are buying and will sell at the appropriate time but that is not now.I am intrigued and see this a new dynamic to the stock.
