As contrary as it sounds, raising money through a stock offering often sends the stock higher. Why? Because the company has the expectation of a future higher stock price because the business is exceeding. Why else would an investor put money up unless it was a winning proposition. It is always best to be in before the stock offering. And in Biotech land it is not unusual to raise money until the business becomes self sustaining. There is more risk for the investor, but a bigger payoff if the calculation pays off. Isn't that why we are all here?
C'mon Man you can't be that Ignorant. Do you really think Cerrone would have bought shares weeks ago if he could get them cheaper after Dilution ????? Just keep on Short'n this and you'll pay Dearly !!!!
Sentiment: Strong Buy
i'm not the happiest of campers. But, if they raised money it would be a pipe deal from on group in humble opinion at around 5.50 for 1mm shares with some warrants that would be out of the money ( perhaps 9-10 ). we could absorb that and march upwards pretty easily IF trials go well and IRWD is showing good growth. i still love the risk / reward here whether going at it alone .. but, I"M get frustrted by the lack of communication to shareholders.
Cab, what are you frustrated about? They released their top line data and it looked great. This stuff takes time (years in fact). The FDA can take months and months to review a product and often the reviews get delayed so relax
cabo, if they do dilute i wouldn't think it would happen until around October. Check with Betonbio. Also, just because they conduct another phase III trial would not mean they are "going it alone" i think.doing the second trial would increase our buy-out numbers by $5.00 a share or so. ight be worth the wait. Don't know your time frame though. My best..
