Regarding movement on "low volume"...
With Kellogg owning 32% and "institutions" owning a sizeable chunk, it doesn't leave a lot of "free float" available if demand picks-up...
It just occurred to me: What if Kellogg's on a dividend re-investment plan? That million-two would pretty well account for the past few days' volume...Just a thought.
Personally, I think some pretty big events are underway with CML and Wabush and with this stock selling so far under "book" it's in the process of being re-discovered. We've yet to see significant results from the new South American operations and, who knows? Maybe Mikey's new CEO is about to get on-board.
Cheez! We like this stock!
"Somebody" loves us...
Looks to be a new "discovery" for some "value" investor(s)...
Next stop? I'm guessing "book+" and then a base before a quick double...
But, that's just my guess...MFC is SO UNDERPRICED it's got a lot of catching-up to do and with the float as thin as it is, it shouldn't take a whole lot of "new" interest to push the price higher at a rather rapid pace.
Was thinking that there was some news that leaked of a new acquisition or sale? Some other kind of catalyst? I understand this stock trading at a discount multiple because of complexity of holdings and lack of transparency, but where it's been trading at has just been crazy lowball....got to go up sometime. Maybe an institutional investor has seen the value?
