the stockholder meeting 9/27 gives cag'ers chance to voice their opinions and judgments on the company's performance. for most of the year, progress seemed solid. but lately, not so hot--and you'd think with more time to integrate Ralcorp things would be looking up. wonder if absorbing ralcorp has hit some snags. just 1 more thought--campbell and hormel are among companies that have come up with innovative new p;roducts--with apparent success. cag has altered and stretched out same product lines--nothing really new and different from before. new products of distinct difference are vital to ongoing success. i remain quite confident Cag can find the way to further progress, through R&D and stepped up international marketing. what about China?? maybe the annual meeting will clarify. .
