On April 14th and May 15th a total of 107 new fiberhoods successfully voted in Google Fiber in K.C. and several surrounding towns. Out of 110 fiberhoods up for vote to receive Google Fiber 107 were successful or ~98%. There is another vote on June 19th which could bring Google Fiber to another 69 fiberhoods.
Between the 107 fiberhoods that have already voted for Google Fiber in April and May and the 69 up for vote in June, another 180 fiberhoods could potentially be passed with fiber relatively soon. In terms of scale, remember Google's initial vote in 2012 comprised 202 fiberhoods which 180 successfully voted for Google Fiber. Another 180 fiberhoods would potentially double the size of Google's initial deployment.
