    Upcoming Earnings Release

I guarantee these crooks will say they have abandoned selling barnett and are looking back into spinning off a MLP. Exactly what they said they were going to doing in Q4 '11 ER last year. Keep in mind if they actually do follow through on what they say they are going to do (highly unlikely) the max cash you can expect from a MLP is on $300m. Not even enough to pay off the revolver it will do nothing to the long term debt.

    • What investors need to ask is how KWK will stay alive if nat gas stays low? I know management and longs keep touting that nat gas is going to spike anytime now, which has led to irresponsible capex spending by management in hopes for a spike. Well guess what, there is so much nat gas in this nation that there is no hope in site for a price hike and KWK is getting crushed by debt and is seriously running into liquidity issues.

People need to wake up and accept the fact that prices will be low for the foreseeable future. With incompetent management swinging for the fenses, you can be this company wont be around in the next 5 years. Get out now while there is still close to $500 million in equity value in the stock. This could easily be $100 million next year as nat gas remains low.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell

    • People here should be prepared for major losses even possible bk. Company running out of cash fast and nat gas wont turn around for at least two years. Pickens sold out, Blackrock dumping shares. Great short.

      Sentiment: Strong Sell
