I wouldn't. At this point the homebuilders' stocks are defying logic. They are not based on real market conditions, but instead apparently on media soundbites.
(P.S. I'm in short myself at this point, and stubbornly refuse to get out with a loss. I wouldn't get in now though. I'm hoping to hold on until the stock eventually goes down to its true value, but that may be some time from now, the way things are looking)
You know how that goes though, they defy logic bet eventually they will come back to reality. The problem is you never know how long they will defy logic.
If it hits 16 or even high 15's I'm going short. September is usually the worst month for stocks, and the home builders are way overvalued.
That being said, I think it is possible the stock market rallies this November even thought that too defies logic. King Bush & co will do everything in their power to spark a rally and I won't best against them.
