Why are the insiders selling so much of their shares?

Do they think this is about as good as it's going to get?

    • Perhaps they wish to buy something or invest in some other things to diversify.

Usually the bankers urge insiders to sell part of their stake in order to "diversify" their holdings. Warren Buffett didn't do this but he is smarter. Insiders usually listen to wall street. But how does wall street benefit? Oh yeah..they make a ton of money on the secondaries PLUS more money moving Kors and the other guys money into new stocks or investments. Then they do it all again and again.

It is not that bad of advice to diversify somewhat if all your wealth is concentrated in one name. I would worry when Kors stake goes to something that is insignificant or if he blows out completely. Sells so far are anything but that. He's still in the game and I cannot fault him for taking some off the table to have some fun with. He cannot take an outrageous salary so this is the only way to unlock the decades of wealth he has built up so he can enjoy it.. Buy a few houses, cars, boats, etc. Go nuts
