No evidence of Cancer, right? FDA Panel is creepy

All this work, no evidence of or any tie to cancer. ISIS uses the same delivery mechanism, tuning it to the cells they intend to hit and changing the RNA (mRNA) payload per target. However, the vector or delivery mechanism would be the portion subject to suspicion of causing cancer. (the world's first successful gene therapy trials did result in cancer, caused by the underlying vector, not the payload).

No evidence of cancer has surfaced.

The panel's vote would change if they had more data to prove no tie to cancer exists.

Regardless, ISIS prospect for positive dealings look very good from here. Evidence is mounting..

If EMA approves and FDA does not, so what? They can sell it in the EU and the small number of affected patients can come to them, if need be. It would be a stain on the FDA.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy
