most of India phones are feature type phones that are not smart.... Times could change and will eventually. Thats why I always like MOBI just hoping the transformation would be good for them.... They made the middle ware software for cheap phones. I just sold my MOBI in frustration with most China stocks...

November 19, 2009 Sequans Secures Funding from Alcatel-Lucent and Motorola Ventures for LTE Development
April 15, 2011 - Sequans Communications Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering $77M--66M for sqns & 11M for early investors
Jul 26, 2012 Filed a $50M shelf registration statement
as we can see two more consecutive losing quarters and SQNS runs out of cash. I'll express my opinion again, Dr Karam is not CEO material- he is a technologist- he thinks $$$$$ is heavenly sent. SQNS is in dire need of the $50M shelving...OR SQNS can do what their earliest private investor-NATAXXIS is telling them, merge or get aquired....I would opt for the shelving ONLY IF A NEW CEO comes in and Da'Champs gets fired. we still have that shareholder class action lawsuit. all ihmo
QCOM managed to get in there too and in China Mobile. QCOM is hounding Sequans trying to destroy them. What a coincidence, QCOM probably also is behind in spreading innuendo about WiMAX and scareing the heck out of Sprint to drop WiMAX, so they quickly dropped HTC's WiMAX phones and how WiMAX as going the direction of the Dino and pronto. That my friend was a staged attack by QCOM--of course IMO--
QCOM hounded Atheros until they succumbed into getting acquired.
In the long run--IMO--- it could be in Apple or Broadcom or Nvidia or Intel interest to acquire Sequans, but mainly and foremost it WOULD BE Apple-they'd get TDD-FDD LTE cat4 /WiMAX/AIR/VoLTE/4Sight/MIPS licenses/CMOS IP-heck just with the COMS part Apple could have huge foundry capacity using TSMC 28nm but they'd have the Xilinx 28nm flavor and a great Engineering/R&D powerhouse. IMO-Sequans archilles heel is the weak mrktng/sales groups-Apple wouldn't need them, nor the Admins. all IMO.
