I have a position with siri. There are some siri investors who have sold half their position in siri and bought lmca to use as a hedge. Things to keep in mind:
1. When/if Liberty gets control of siri, there are convertible bonds that will be converted to common shares thus diluting siri share price. There could quickly be another 320 million shares outstanding.
2. When/if Liberty spins off Siri in an rmt, lmca shareholders will get siri shares. Siri shareholders will get 1 share of the newly spun off company for one share siri.
I think it disingenuous to tell lmca investors to sell and buy siri.
