      wave,

My picks don't exactly meet your criteria, but I bet you make money in the long run.

Try Genentech (DNA), Amgen (AMGN) or Monsanto (MON). Stay away from start-up biotechs. That's what got you into trouble with Xoma.

If your heart is set on a company with a blockbuster drug at least wait till the company has entered into phase 3 trials. At least your money won't be tied up for 6 years, and some of your risk will be reduced. If they are successful you'll still make a lot of money.

    • I bought in under a buck thinking we had hit bottom but now I don't know where the bottom is for this stock. In bio tech I have moved my money to CVM. I don't know if it meets your requirements but they do have promising technology. GLTA!

    • There are no other bio's. Xoma has a unique valuation where their price to sales of about 1.3 is 1/10th of their peers. How many profitable bio's have a market cap of 100mm? We already know Xoma will be profitable next quarter as well, so I why is the price so low?.
