Good news: dividend shall continue indefinitely per Tom Gurnee
Just got an email response from Tom Gurney:
"We intend to pay dividends going forward year after year. We have not yet decided whether to pay annually, semi-annually, or quarterly but we have defintely decided to contniue paying dividends... this was not a one-off exercise.
I don't know what to be exited about. The stock will plunge every time before or after the ex-dividend day. You just get some cash to compensate part of the stock price drop. In addition, you only get 90% of your dividend because of the tax.
Last time,I sold half of my XIN shares after they announced the dividend and share buyback. Though I didn't get the 9 penny dividend, I sold them at $2.39. Look, the stock is traded below $2.10 now.
