Sold few shares above $2.40 to reduce XIN from 11% to 8% of my portfolio. I agree XIN has huge upside potential if everything is right in the future. But the huge risk simply could not allow me keeping it above 10% of my portfolio.
I thought you were out on any pop above 2? Well you had your pop? What made you change your mind now? I have been in XIN for 17 months and will be for another 10 years. I hedge all my longs by buying puts on other stocks and by buying some tvix and tza. Has worked for me the last 10 years and will again. I never trim my position unless a stock gets fairly valued and XIN is far from that, this stock should be trading at a minimum of $6.00 pps and up to $18.00 pps during a china sector bull run. Anyway I own 7% and have been adding small amounts monthly regardless of price. Good luck!
