October 25, 2011 (Chinavestor) China Vanke (SHE:200002), the largest property developer in China, reported solid earnings for the quarter, easing fears that government clamp down on the sector would make it bust. Sound corporate earnings coupled with strong PMI manufacturing data from yesterday propelled the Shanghai Composite Index (SHA:000001) up 1.6% on Tuesday. The Monday-Tuesday combined advance is the best two day gain since last December. Stocks rose in Hong Kong as well on strong corporate earnings.
Ok Golf, a serious post deserves a serious answer. My answer is I don't care. That is where I differ from you and JB. I don't worry day after day about why the stock doesn't move. Some of my biggest winners didn't move for months, sometimes years. I will buy more of this stock below 1.70 and I will sell starting at 2. Meantime I will always have a core position of 2,000 shares. That is my plan and nothing will cause me to deviate short of declining earnings.
