If the correction is just today, no doubt it is not a big deal. However, even most optimistic guys here don't expect the correction to be just today. More declines or underperformance are coming.
Also, JB, although I feel the stock is undervalued. your assertion that the actual dividend announcement will push the stock much higher is without solid support. First, the market already take into account the announcement in the price. Everybody knows it. Only a substantial payout that significantly exceed average estimate will have a positive impact. Otherwise, a normal or less than expected payout will send this stock plunge.
Again, I appreciate your faith on XIN, but please use more valid points to support your argument.
stan, I don't think you are reading my posts correctly. I "DO NOT" think the dividend will help the stock price. Additional buybacks announced, and better than expected Q1 will make the stock price higher.
If it was up to me, XIN would pay no dividend, and implement a $50 million buyback program.
