    So I emailed IR

    Hi Jeff,

Thank you for your interest in XIN. We think we are badly undervalued for two primary reasons.
The first is that the market perceives a risk of fraud and the second is the substantial fears of housing bubble in China. Over the past two years, some fraud Chinese small cap companies were revealed by the market and unfortunatelly Xinyuan was painted the same color. Xinyuan is not a fraud. The Company IPOed on NYSE in 2007 through rigorous process; the underwriter is Merril Lynch and we are audited by E&Y; we buyback shares and pay dividend; we have a professional board with strong background and sound corporate governance... Secondly, there is no bubble in China's real estate market which is supported by China's economic growth, continued urbanization and relevant steady housing price... However, the market sentiment is beyond our control. What we can do is to focus on continueing to perform and provide return to shareholders. Besides, we will communicate more with the market by timely transparant disclosure, attending investor conferences and organizing non deal roadshow. We look forward to your continued support and any advice and suggestion is appreciated.

    Thanks and regards,

    Nathan Lai
