RuncdsRun, that poor, delicate flower is throwing his little temper tantrum because of an exchange he had with me this morning. He replied to one of my posts:

You keep misusing the word "your." It's a simple word, so simple it's hard to get wrong, but you somehow manage to keep making the same mistake, despite the fact that I've already taught you this once before.
Do you have a learning disability, or are you just slow?
Alright, let's try again. The word "your" is a possessive adjective connoting ownership. Here's an example sentence: "Your intelligence is below a baboon's."
The word you should have used is "you're," a contraction of the two words "you are." Here's an example: "You're possibly the dumbest human being on the planet, and that's a hard contest to win."
See the difference? Think this time you'll be able to remember it? Excellent! For trying so hard, I'm going to let you pick out the first toy after nap time!
@Hmmm, I remember when I learned English many years ago. My teacher was a native British guy.He said in Britain people pronounce "you are" as "your". However, only uneducated write "you are" as "your".
