Funny. What makes you think it was the high taxes that spurred the economy and not that new fangled invention that changed the world? You know, that internets thing?
The point Turkeybutt is that the higher tax rates did not prevent economic growth. Tax rates have nothing to do with economic growth.

You think that if the internet boom didn't happen the economy wouldn't have been adversely affected by the higher taxes?
