Surely, folks having false expectation will sell off XIN at first. Institutions will push XIN's price higher eventually. The market is only going to be impacted by these unsophisticated folks in a very short time period.
They shouldn't. Doesn't look like a great pop, but doesn't look like they are going lower. Even with the purchases their cash went up, they beat estimates, and their book value is now over $10.00. U.S. home builders are at least 2x times their book value. XIN eventually will get to $20.00+ a share.
I am fine with weak hands selling...this is NOT a bad report. Stronger hands will bring it back....4th quarter may be weak, but things are ramping up...buy on weakness ;-)..Q3, Q4..., 2014 will be really strong!!!! Thanks for the cheap shares ;-)
Why should it when this is in line with guidance.
They did not miss on earnings or revenues and everyone knew this qrtr could not be like the last and that the next qrtr was projected to be much better than this one.
