Started with a 50k brokerage account the end of last year, and it is up to 104k right now. I have 50k now in Conservative stocks, and the rest in Chinese small cap stocks right now. I am hoping that they will be bought out, and/or issue a nice dividend for year end.
Any with a loss at year end, I will sell to off set some of my short term capital gains for 2012, and those with gains, I will sell after the new year to have the short term gains in 2013.
I will buy back into Xinyuan right after the first of the year. They will stay stable for a couple months, but will go back up after the 1st of the year. They will announce the new dividend for Q1 of 2013 in mid January, and I believe that they will "double" their current dividend to .08 a quarter.
