What is the point of having shareholders for this company?
Every quarter same story repeats
XIN releases stellar earnings by beating estimate by wide margin.
XIN raises Full year targets
XIN increases book value QoQ
XIN remains very optimistic about its business
XIN's insane undervaluation just keeps getting bigger and bigger
XIN's empire keeps getting bigger
Management is NOT particularly interested in
returning capital to shareholders other than paying paltry 5 cents dividend.
addressing issue of total lack of analysts coverage
addressing issue of incompetent PR dept.
addressing issue of perception in the marketplace
Shareholders continue to suffer quarter after quarter year after year. Down 80% from IPO price...
We need some activist shareholders to demand actions from management.
who is suffering? Take your dividend and by more shares if they are so cheap. I am quite happy with a low price as I plan on holding for a while anyway. I don't need a market price to validate the investment, and I'd rather management not waste money to try and convince people to buy shares that I don't plan on selling. I find myself saying this a lot with small companies. The beauty of the situation is that shares are cheap. Don't complain.... just buy more.
I am like you. Patient and steady. Dividend is more than 4 times I can get on MM, only risk is capital but my cost per share is about $2.25.
But then others have a different perspective and we should be able to understand their frustration.
