Yes woj, I had 5k shares prior to the last pop, and sold 3k. I always keep 2k for "long" term. If shares drop down to $5.50, I will buy back at least 3k shares, and when pops up to $6.50, will sell again, etc.
According to my Etrade account, I have now made $2,500.00 in "long term" gains, $92,500.00 in "short term" gains, and $4,000.00 in "dividends" from XIN over the last two years.
I told this guy about XIN in the fall of '11. He buys blue chips with dividends above 3% almost solely cuz he lives off them. I knew he'd like XIN's dvdnd. I was surprised when he told me he picked up 5700 at 1.75. He still has em and i'm kick'n myself in the buttons__let me tell you that's hard to do and it hurts__but i deserve it__i got shares averaged in at 2.77 but let myself get spooked out in June when all the bad mouth'n China's economy came out again compounded with strong news of their real estate bubble - quad kicks in the buttons for that move. I thought i'd be able to get back in much lower but she sure took off. Still plenty of room to run for the long haul so it will be interesting what price i get in at again__oh well
Once again, lying. I know you posted "I have 4400 shares" about a week or 2 ago. Now it's 5000?
According to my Yahoo Youre-a-forking-liar spreadsheet you've made at least 13 lies this year on this message board
Well... you might be following Wally... but following JB goes something like this:
I have 33000 shares
OH MAN EARNINGS ARE GOING TO BE GREAT
I sold on earnings day
...and i just happened to buy a stock that announced a special dividend the very next day...
...then I make a few other lies... then I have 30000 shares. Then I have 4400 shares. In fact, I lie so much I can't keep them straight.
Oh don't take my word for it... just good "Jeff's Success" and his username. Oh man, that cracks me up every time
I'm not very good at math but I'm not sure how selling 20% leaves you with 1/3 for long term.
Well I'm feeling nice today. Here I googled it for you
"At 40 years old, I have been investing in stocks, bonds, and even gold. The returns have been good, but I finally wised up. I actually found a way to make more on my investment, in a shorter period of time.
I found a way to more than double my initial investment, and at 40 years old, I have paid off my total mortgage.
I've decided to help others by putting down on paper how I was so successful in doubling my money, in a such a short period of time, and the financial tricks that have gotten me into the black, and helped me to stay there. Don't worry, it is "free".
Just send $1.00 for shipping handling, and I will send it to you as soon as I get your request.
