You should never take your position on any company you don't have 100% trust. You should never own XIN to begin with. Hope you have some overall gain in XIN after spend so much time here. I suggest you don't try small cap Chinese stocks in future for your own benefits. Also, don't feel bad if you see XIN going up without you (some ex-XIN losers like to do that). Remember you now can sleep well by giving up opportunity to make very nice money in not long future. I will take the same trade if I am not totally comfortable with XIN for the past 2 years. I hold XIN for a 1000% gain from my original cost. XIN is the best performing stock in my portfolio in past two years. I expect it will perform in next 2 years as well as it did in past two years. With XIN projects pipeline, this is so obvious to me. Sure, I could be wrong for future. I am happy I have been right and financially rewarded in last two years by owning XIN.
As a shareholder i hope you are wrong, but thanks for your post because now i will keep even a closer watch including reading between the lines. You have been a creditable poster here. Maybe you're assessment will be correct though many blue chip companies, as you must know, have had CEO issues never mind CFO ones so all this type of thing is not uncommon. The issue with Chinese companies being fraudulent we all know and have discussed here. I think i'd be more concerned if the accounting company bowed out, but that's just the way i look at it _ fwiw
