the truth is, UPS owns every single UPS store, they own the entire franchise chain..........duh ...............the so called "owners" simply lease for 10 years, they dont own a thing.........The ad's and fliers UPS run trying to get new "investors" in the ups store chain, should not mention the word "own" anywhere...the word "own" should be replaced with "lease". or UPS should have their pants sued off for lying
AND EVERY SINGLE THING THAT HAPPENS AT A UPS STORE EFFECTS UPS'S IMAGE, PLAIN AND SIMPLE
it would be in UPS's best interests to buy these leases up and the run the stores themselves.........do you really want someone running a store with your name plastered all over it, that basically hates UPS-

the reason why the UPS management won't do what makes sound business sense is simple...............they hate and are afraid unions so much, they will allow their decisions to defy reasonable logic
i guess image means nothing....shhhhhhhhh just don't tell that to the UPS shield........he has been under the impression that he has actually mattered for years and years...your going to break the poor shields little heart -

I am a retired UPS Manager, unless things have dramatically changed, (don't see it happening) the FACTS remain the same.
Reference FACT versus truth wherever you choose: Wickpedia, Britannica, etc FACTS are FACTS, truths are something other than FACTS, proven to be true only in the minds of the people beholden to these truths as being facts.
In spite of the truth (as you see it), the fact remains that UPS (company) does not own/operate the individual UPS Store locations.
My point remains valid, yours eludes me....
