Service is not in UPS business and should not be in their name.
Tracking showed that my pkg was to be delivered by end of business day on Friday. So I went by the facility before the trucks left to see about picking up my pkg. At that point tracking showed that my pkg was left in G,boro, NC and was told at the facility that there was not room on the truck so my pkg was to be in the Shelby, NC facility over the weekend and would be delivered Monday. Monday tracking showed the pkg made it to Shelby and was scanned out for delivery. After waiting from about 4:30 pm til 8 pm I checked tracking to find that my pkg was back at the Shelby facility (time showed 7:30 pm). Called facility and spoke with "on the road mgr Bill" and was told that he called the trucks back in because of DOT regulations. Mr. Bill not only was rude but was quit obviously not very concern about me or me getting my pkg. I even offered to come at 9 pm tonight and pick up the pkg but Mr. Bill was not interested in helping me get my pkg. Sounds like very poor management and leadership of D. Scott Davis and the training in customer service to supervisors like "on the road mgr Mr. Bill at the Shelby , NC facility. I know I for one would have made sure that the customer that did not get their pkg on Friday, because of UPS poor planning of the holiday season, got their pkg on Monday, but I guess they figured they had my pkg and I would just have to wait until they got around to delivering it. I know I for one will try to avoid using UPS in the future and would suggest anyone else that want their pkg do the same.
